Potatoes in Practice brings together variety trials and research in one place at one time, making it the premier field potato event in the UK. It is sponsored by the BPC and features trials and demonstrations from SCRI, SAC and CSC Potato Care.

Input from the potato industry has expanded the event year on year bringing it to a new level of success, with over 600 attendees in 2007; including growers, advisors, overseas visitors and industry representatives. Potatoes in Practice 2008, is being held on 7 August 2008 from 9.30am – 4.30pm at SCRI’s Gourdie Farm near Dundee.

Companies are invited to display their products in a field plot, the marquee or, for machinery, an outside stand beside the marquee. All companies present on site will be mentioned in the event publicity.
