Food Science at the University of Leeds is growing rapidly and strongly

 

Student numbers within the Food Science Department at the University of Leeds have doubled in the last 3 years alone, with growth in both under graduates and post graduate numbers.  The entry requirements are also the highest of any UK food science degree and these are adhered to in all offers made. 

The National Student Survey places the School first equal for overall satisfaction in Food & Beverage studies showing that students are also more satisfied than ever with their time at Leeds.  Further growth is also planned in student numbers and in the area of nutrition, with a BSc Nutrition programme launched for 2010 entry. 

So the University of Leeds School of Food Science is certainly making a strong contribution to the demand for excellent food science graduates by the industry. Students from Leeds have gone on to a large variety of roles within the Food and Drink Industry.
