Developing Responses to Emerging Global Food Safety Issues

The ninth in the series of annual joint symposia on food safety and applied nutrition will focus on the theme of Developing responses to emerging global food safety issues.

Symposia sessions will include case studies describing responses to recent international food safety issues, tools for developing the capability to respond rapidly, and a description of 'lessons learned' that can be applied to preparing for the future.

Topics of discussion will include harmonising responses to emerging issues and several speakers will be from the EU Network of Excellence MoniQA (Monitoring and Quality Assurance).
