Corporate Social Responsibility

– Impact on the Bottom Line

10th March 2010
Europarc, Grimsby

CSR has become one of the most crucial aspects of business in the 21st Century and is about understanding your business impact on the wider world. Evidence suggests that the more successful companies of the future shall be those that seek to raise their game by taking a more responsible approach to all their business activities. Yet CSR is much more than philanthropy, it cuts across everything you do and everyone you deal with; your employees, suppliers, communities, environment and customers.  Many organisations have made considerable savings by investing in more socially responsible activities such as the reduction of energy and water wastage. Customer values are changing too, not only do they want value for money, but they are more conscious of the impacts of societies on the environment.

The conference is organised by the Humber Institute of Food and Fisheries and SOFHT and will highlight best practice and best management methods of incorporating CSR into business practices. It will also provide delegates with the latest thinking and impacts on the bottom line of CSR within leading businesses and will provide benefit to organisations of all size, scale, discipline and sector.
