Confidence in Compost

15th March 2010
Montague on the Gardens, London

Use of source-segregated composts by UK agriculture has doubled in the past five years, but can we be confident that compost quality is high enough to deliver future market growth?   Representatives from Cranfield University, the Macaulay Land Use Research Institute and Veterinary Laboratories Agency will present the findings of their risk assessments examining compost quality and suitability for use in different agricultural sectors. The implications of these results on future specifications for compost production and use will be discussed.
