This Scottish Food & Drink Federation Conference will open with a keynote speech from Jim Mather MSP, Minister of Enterprise, Energy and Tourism on the current policy context in Scotland. This year's other keynote speakers bring a range of perspectives about sustainability issues facing the food and drink industry. They include:
* Bill Adamson from the Scottish Food Standards Agency who will discuss the FSA's approach to sustainable development in policy making
* Peter Jones from BIFFA who will discuss the utilisation of food waste
* Dr David Baines from Acumentia Consulting Group who will discuss maximising limited resources
* Callton Young from the FDF who will provide a manufacturing industry perspective of environmental ambitions
* Angus McIver from Morrisons supermarkets who will provide a retail perspective
