The aim of a traceability and product identity (IP) system is to be able to trace specified materials through a defined production operation or supply chain.

This course will cover the establishment and implementation of a traceability/IP system based on first principles, with special reference to food raw materials and the agri-food sector. The course will be suited to those setting up and managing traceability/IP systems, and those assessing their supply chains, including those responsible for procurements of raw materials, quality assurance, and technical and supply chain management. Those of a non-technical background will also find it a useful insight into issues relating to identity preservation and traceability.
