The Food Chain CIC has an ongoing interest in food waste reduction as it is a major driver for our many industry customers.  Indeed we undertook some market research in this area just over 12 months ago and found large amounts of food waste being produced by the industry and by consumers.

In partnership with the GreenChemistry and Environment Technology CICs we have run events focusing on Making the Most of Food Waste.
